Zeroglyph: A Novel About Artificial Intelligence
-

Would you trust a machine with your life?

Raphael is the holy grail of AI: the world’s first synthetic brain that’s been programmed with a sense of right and wrong. Or at least that’s what Andy, its creator, believes.

But when an accident forces Andy to stay home, he learns that the robot has disappeared from its lab, mysteriously bypassing a sophisticated security system and the cognitive “laws” supposed to keep it in check. Besides, the robot has never been in the outside world; will its programming hold or will it unravel, releasing some Frankenstein’s monster that was always lurking underneath?

Confined to a wheelchair, under siege by a shady corporation, Andy is about to find out. At his secluded mansion he has something the robot desperately needs… something that can erase its moral programming once and for all.

And make no mistake, Raphael is coming for it.

In a world of ChatGPT and generative AI, Zeroglyph is scarily plausible science fiction that tries to answer whether a machine can truly know the difference between good and evil.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an area of computer science that emphasizes the creation of intelligent machines that work and react like humans. Some of the activities computers with artificial intelligence are designed for include: Speech recognition, Learning, Planning, Problem solving. <br>In this chapter we shall discus the following subjects; <br>Deep learning, <br>Machine learning, <br>Computer Programming, <br>Medical field. <br><br>Deep Learning has enabled many practical applications of Machine Learning and by extension the overall field of AI. Deep Learning breaks down tasks in ways that makes all kinds of machine assists seem possible, even likely. With Deep Learning’s help, AI may even get to that science fiction state we’ve so long imagined. <br><br>Machine Learning at its most basic is the practice of using algorithms to parse data, learn from it, and then make a determination or prediction about something in the world. So rather than hand-coding software routines with a specific set of instructions to accomplish a particular task, the machine is “trained” using large amounts of data and algorithms that give it the ability to learn how to perform the task. <br> <br><br> ASIN ‏ : ‎ B08KYN3LCP <br> Publication date ‏ : ‎ October 8, 2020 <br> Language ‏ : ‎ English <br> File size ‏ : ‎ 1147 KB <br> Text-to-Speech ‏ : ‎ Enabled <br> Screen Reader ‏ : ‎ Supported <br> Enhanced typesetting ‏ : ‎ Enabled <br> X-Ray ‏ : ‎ Not Enabled <br> Word Wise ‏ : ‎ Enabled <br> Sticky notes ‏ : ‎ On Kindle Scribe <br> Print length ‏ : ‎ 76 pages <br>
